Sporting & Natural Capital
The Isle of Mull is one of the few parts of Scotland home to exclusively red deer. This makes it a highly sought after place to stalk. An experience not for the faint hearted, this will take you out of to the hill to experience all that Pennyghael has to offer.
On a wider basis, Pennyghael is in the process of developing a natural capital enhancement project. This will include a native woodland creation scheme and some peatland restoration on the hill ground. The estate will also be exploring schemes to protect and enhance habitats for the existing wildlife, noting the presence of key species such as sea eagles and marsh fritillary butterflies across the estate.
This forum will be used to communicate updates regarding the ongoing work at the estate as it is undertaken.
